Developing Effective Staff Manuals and Faculty Handbooks

Does your staff manual or faculty handbook clearly lay out expectations for your faculty/staff? Is it readable, well-organized and a useful reference for them? Are your policies and procedures clearly identified? What is the difference between a staff manual/faculty handbook and personnel policies, and should you combine them?

This workshop includes:  identification of key components of staff manuals and faculty handbooks; layout and organization suggestions; job performance standards and evaluation methods; legal and liability issues related to staff manuals.

  • Material must be well organized, clearly explained, and relevant to your staff's performance.
  • Your handbook should be directly related to your faculty/staff evaluations


Fees:
On-site presentation to your staff: $425.00
Discounted rate as part of a 3-seminar package: $340.00
Individual attendance at an area  presentation: $125.00
2nd person attending from the same school/ organization at an area presentation: $100.00

Note:  For on-site presentations, travel fees are in addition to workshop fees.
