ACA Accreditation Preparation
Due for ACA Accreditation this summer? Do you not have time
to spend hours reviewing written documentation? Would you rather
have your staff working with the campers rather than creating paperwork?
Do you intensely dislike paperwork?
CASC works with a limited number of camps each summer, assisting with
preparation of required materials for ACA accreditation. Dan Gelineau,
CASC president, is a former standards chair, and is a current standards
instructor and visitor. He is very knowledgeable regarding standards.
CASC offers two approaches to standards
work:
1. CASC assumes complete responsibility for the camp's compliance
with all standards applicable to the camp's programs. In addition
to written standards, CASC will review and verify all policies,
procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with all standards.
2. CASC assumes responsibility for all standards requiring written
documentation. Current documents are reviewed, and relevant information
is gathered, referenced, or created as needed. Your directors and
program staff are provided with regular updates as to what is needed to
ensure compliance.
Written material prepared for accreditation is guaranteed:
A $50 refund of consulting fees per written standard that does not pass
is guaranteed in writing!
